Many people are quick to give up when they fail in a given task, assignment, project or business. However, it is important to note that even the great people of this world, encountered failure/s in their various journeys to success.
The famous Thomas Edison failed over 6,000 times before perfecting the first electrical light bulb. Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team and missed over 9,000 shots in his career. Oprah Winfrey was fired from an early anchor spot and deemed “unfit for TV.” Countless success stories are replete with mistakes and obstacles..
If you fail big, in business, marriage, career or other aspects of life, it may feel like the end of the road and that everything you once hoped for is now completely out of your reach. It may also take an emotional toll on you and break you physically and mentally. Nevertheless, when failure occurs, as painful as it can be, it should be seen as an opportunity to critically analyze what went wrong in the first instance and then come roaring back better and stronger.
‘Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.’ Henry Ford.
You should not give up when something goes awry and instead dive in to figure out how you can improve. What did you learn from the experience ? How can you use what you learnt to progress?
‘It is fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed to the lessons of failure.’ Bill Gates.
You must also not refuse to try because of the fear of failure. He that does not try does not fail and also does not succeed. Maintain the action habit. #Action .You have what it takes to be great.
‘Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.’ Winston Churchill.
